BikeCAD Feature Request

Brent,

Miters for me are paper templates and files. If it's possible, I'd like to see the orientation of the top tube miter templates changed to match each other. If they were the same (as in center of the template being either the top or bottom of the tube), it would be much easier to use one center-line to keep miters in phase.

remove limit on number of notes, currently 10

BikeCAD Feature Request

I am using BikeCAD to model my existing bikes. I am using un-dimensioned notes to record the actual measurements then fiddle around with the BikeCAD dimensions to get the model as close to reality as possible. The limit of 10 notes seems to be an unnecessary limitation.

BikeCAD Feature Request

Instead of the nice straight back of the existing rider, allow for a distance & angle in the riders back, so us poor old blokes can be better modeled.

BikeCAD Feature Request

Hi Brent!

Would it be possible to have a more realistic view of the tire in the top view (chainstay and seatstays views)?

I guess in the wheel definition we could have a "diameter at the largest point" value. Then you would "just" have to draw half of an ellipse between the top of the tire and the two sides.

OK, it's always easier said than done, but it's really something that would help with touchy chainstay designs (short 29ers, snowbikes, etc...)

Hello,
Do you think it might be possible to have the option of using a truss fork in BikeCAD?
Thanks.

BikeCAD on the iPad

BikeCAD Feature Request

I would gladly pay full price for BikeCAD Pro if it were on the iPad, especially if it integrated FullSuspensionCad.

If it's all contained in a Java file, can that be easily packaged for iOS?

Dunno if you've used one, but they're pretty slick, fast & clean, like bikecad itself. The iPad+BikeCad package would be really attractive for builders who are builders, and not computer guys (which seems to be common). As well, it'd be the most sophisticated design app in the appstore. You'd probably get a huge amount of exposure for doing it.

Thoughts?
