If you've got a question about using the free online version of BikeCAD, post it here.
Hi,
any idea ? Always this screen.
Thanks a lot, Carlo
Has there been a change in the free version? The tooltips for paint and dimensions are greyed out and the menus won't open for me! Both in IE and IE tab for Chrome. Latest Java
Can't see where to do this. Thanks in advance.
I used to have access to this dimension on the online version, but now it is greyed out. If I load a drawing I previously created, that box is still checked, but the dimension no longer appears on the drawing, nor can I select or de-select it. I can understand the need to keep some things for the Pro version, but I'm not building bicycles. I just want to check what would happen if I change seatposts.
Hi guys, I'm new here. My question is regarding standover height...
I see that if I plug in my standover height, there is a handy algorithm that allows me to adjust the top tube angle to accomodate my standover height.
My question is how much buffer space is allowed in this algorithm? This is because my actual physical standover height should not be used directly for frame geometry - ideally the mid-point of the top-tube should be a couple inches below my pubic bone. Is this the case? What is the exact buffer measurement provided between my actual standover height and what the frame top tube allows. I'd like to see this graphically represented on my bike detail, how do I do this?
I am experiencing problems with Quick Start on Chrome, IE, and Edge. Please help??
Greetings,
I notice that many dimensions in the various tabs are "greyed out" and not available to insert into a drawing. Is this a limited access aspect of the free version or are there ways to make the greyed out dimenisions available.
Thanks,
Bill
Hello from Peru.
I just start to use the BikeCAD and it is awesome, thak you very much, is really useful.
But, i need your help: i just put the numbers to decide the height of the frame, but i don't know how to decide the length of the seat stays, chain stays and the reach. I use a cross country bicycle.
Can you help me with that?
Hey-
The User guide videos were super helpful for learning how the curving functionality works, as was the offset video. Thank you for those!
However, I'm running into an issue while trying out an elevated chainstay design. I can't quite get the chainstay and seattube to join up/miter correctly. See picture.
Here are my numbers:
Chainstay length: 415mm
Hi! I need to join one extra tube to another extra tube in my project . I can't see that option. Is it possible?
