Full - Suspension
I would really love to see a full-suspension/ dual-suspension option in BikeCAD Free.
Thanks

If there's a feature you'd like to see added to BikeCAD, suggest it here.

BikeCAD needs to add recumbent bike designs
It would be awesome to be able to mock up tubing butt placement.
Maybe have the center section between the butt transitions as a set dim. and then have the ends of the tube the variable?
it would really help with tube selection for us noobs.
It seems like some design features are limited in order to prompt purchase of the full version. I my case, I am playing with geometry doing homework on a custom frame to be built by a pro. I'm very interested in all fit and geometry measures, not at all interested in the mitering, etc. (that's the builders job...). It would be very nice to have access to measures such as handlebar drop and standover without paying for the full program. I'd gladly pay a small fee for something with just a few more features than the free version.
I thought I'd toss out a suggestion for a possible change to the way BikeCAD handles curved seat tubes. The way it currently stands, if the builder is capable of measuring effictive BB offset, the TT/ST miter angle comes out perfectly. A problem I've personally been running into is that the input parameters [BB ctr to bend center (A) and Bend Radius (R)] likely can't be accurately and reliably measured by smaller builders with simple tools.
I would pay extra to have the ability to mock up a rear suspension similar to what Ventana has.
The ability to show pivot points and shock and tire clearance would be amazing...
Heck even just centerlines would be great...
as it is now I have to bring it over to autocad which is a real PITA!

I know they are not as common as they were, but can we get an option to have double taper seat stays at some point?
Thanks,
Chris
Would it be possible to have the dimension arrows remain a constant size irrespective of zoom?
As it stands if you zoom in to view something small the item can be obscured by the arrows
Hello!
I'm new to both BikeCAD and frame design/bike building, but loving both. Having decided to model two of my own bikes, as a way of getting to grips with the software. I've made a list of a few things that I either couldn't find, or are missing and I'd personally like to see. Apologies if I've not looked hard enough! In no particular order:
What about the Rotor Q-Rings? A lot of people use them...
