BikeCAD Feature Request

Brent,

When designing a Mixte frame sometimes I'd like to join the 2nd S.S. at a point above the dropout on the 1st S.S. Not unlike

this: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0336/9713/t/25/assets/slideshow_1_1200x.jpg?13158547316030136417

Is that something that could be implemented?

Thanks!

Brent

Mixte with raised seat stays

You can already do this as demonstrated in the sample model at: bikecad.ca/1540427572976

The key is to recognize you can change the end points for the second set of stays in the Rear dropouts dialog box. Be aware that it is best to choose a hooded style dropout or any style dropout from the menu of static drawings. Otherwise, BikeCAD will attempt to make the dropout extend up to meet the stay which is not what you want.
