Entering Chain Stay or Seat stay inputs from a Columbus drawing file

Hi,

Can you assist in the parameters I need to input in the chain stay dialogue box for a Columbus chain stay drawing?  I am assuming using method 2 for a curve chain stay is what is required but I cannot figure out the radius numbers.

Many thanks,

Steve

I'm sorry I accidentally deleted your followup post, but I think you are right that it can be helpful to display the Z1, Z2, and Z3 dimensions and tweak other dimensions using method 2 to make things match. Below is what I got after using method 1 with the bend angles displayed as dimensions. I was able to directly input A,C, and E as well as radius values R1, R2, and R3. All I had to do was tweak the deflection values B, D, and F until the angles matched the drawing.

Hi Brent, that's awesome and

Hi Brent, that's awesome and many thanks I'll give that a whirl.  Would it be an idea for a future release that we could save these as a static component?

Great! I will consider that

Great! I will consider that for a future update.

One last question Brent, how

One last question Brent, how did you calculate the R1,R2,& R3 numbers of 17mm,4mm & 8mm?

Dimensions R1, R2 and R3 were given in your drawing from Columbus.
