Please disable animated bicycle background

I never save BCAD models with the animation turned on. You can always turn animation on or off by right clicking on the screen and selecting animate in the pop-up menu. Alternatively, you can open the "Display" dialog box (using the eyeball icon) and use the animation toggle button found there.

However, I do find it annoying to open a BCAD model and find that the animation is turned on in that model. Perhaps I should change things so that the animation state isn't saved with the model. Thanks for your suggestion.

What he saying is not about BCAD models.
He is talking about the background of this website !

Thanks for the clarification. I've disabled the animated background. I'd like to find a way to make it optional as was suggested. But for now, disabling it all together is easier.

I'd be curious to know if this improves things.

On August 29th, I deactivated the animated background on all pages of the site. Today, I've reactivated it everywhere except on pages where the BikeCAD applet is used.

Please let me know if this causes any trouble.

Yes, the animated background is nice, but heavy :)
