Having issues with inseam and knee angle

Fit Advisor Forum

I've been playing around with the fit advisor for a very tall rider. His inseam is 920mm. Recommended seat height is 812mm based on the 0.883 formula. When rider is displayed on the bike with the crank inline with the seat tube the leg is disconnected (i'm guessing leg in the model is somehow too short and this results in disconnection). Also the leg is locked out with a knee angle of 180 degrees. Am I missing something here?

Rider anatomy

I just transferred your body geometry numbers into my own model and below is the image that I get. I believe the key here is to click the Rider Anatomy tab and then the Apply to BikeCAD model button. The model of the rider won't update until this button is clicked.

I think the way tabs are displayed in the Mac version is a little awkward. You can still get to the Rider anatomy tab by scrolling to the right, but if you would rather have all the tabs displayed as they are in my screen capture, you can get this layout using the Metal look and feel.
