Whenever i try to load bikecad i get an application error "ClassNotFoundException" bikeCADPro. Is there an issue with it or am I doing something wrong?
I still cannot run Bikecad on PC (work or home), I've checked Java versions, security settings but still cannot edit made on Mac project. Attached file with error. Looking forward for help as my doughter mac is going for vacation :)
I'm sorry. I'm not sure what could be happening there. I had no trouble opening your design on my PC. Have you tried a different browser? For example, if you are using Internet Explorer, you could try Firefox or Chrome. For the record, all three work for me.
I'm not sure what he might have done to correct his issue, but my records show that Customizer successfully managed to save his model on a PC. My only suggestion was to try another browser. BikeCAD will run on IE, Firefox and Chrome on my PC. However, if you've only tried it on one of these browsers, it's worth trying another one.
There have been two error messages discussed in this thread. It's not clear which of these error messages you're getting. Do you have the same issue on Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome and Safari? What version of Java are you running?
Well, I have this problem with Firefox, Chrome and Internet explorer. On an older computer I haven´t that problem, but on Windows 8 I,ve got, on both computers was the same anti virus. Actually I can work with safari on a Mac Book and there´s no problem.
I'm not sure what is going on there. I can assure you for one thing that it is not because of Windows 8. I am running Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 myself and do not have this problem. I notice that you are not running the latest version of Java. The version you have should in theory be more than adequate. However, for now, my only suggestion is to try the latest version of Java and see how you get along. Also, it does seem like you already know about this, but as always, be aware of the info at: bikecad.ca/security_1.7.0_51.
Do you know what version of Java you have installed? You can find out at: bikecad.ca/java_test.
It is also worth noting the info at: bikecad.ca/security_1.7.0_51.
Thanks Brent,
Turned out to be an issue with my anti virus software stopping everything.

Thanks
