Hi there, I noticed that in Drivetrain when I have centerlines shown and battery location is 'None', the centerlines for the battery bosses are still shown. It seems like they will remain from wherever the last battery location was. They aren't needed for bikes that have internal batteries. Any hints on how to get rid of these lines?

Curious if anyone knows how to pull an angle up on the drawings: 2nd miter for the top tube notch when the top tube interects a downtube at head tube. Thx -Vince

Can you assist in the parameters I need to input in the chain stay dialogue box for a Columbus chain stay drawing? I am assuming using method 2 for a curve chain stay is what is required but I cannot figure out the radius numbers.

These days it's possible to have tubes CNC laser cut, which opens up some neat options for semi-handmade bikes (tubes mitred by a machine, brazed/welded by a human). From a data point of view it would be handy if BikeCAD could export tubes as individual STP files. The program obviously already calculates all the dimensions and the mitre contours so it doesn't seem like it would be an impossible thing to integrate but I don't really know what's involved!

I'd like to model some typical cantilever brakes (Paul's, Shimano, TRP, etc.)

Ive been working on BikeCAD for a while on my old windows pc and have loads of files i need to keep. Ive just had to upgrade to a mac but i cant open any of my old windows files on the new mac. I can see the BikeCAD files when i look in my documents but the files dont show up once ive started BikeCAD. I cant find anything on the forums or help page. Dose anyone know how to convert the files?

My rear axle and dropout don't appear to be matching up. The front and rear axle are level; it's just the dropout that appears to be several mm too high.

The dropout here is a Paragon X-12 but the problem is the same with other standard dropouts.

Has anyone else experienced this or got ideas for a workaround? Thanks!

Until now I have created my chainstays in a separate cad, because I could not manage to transfer the dropouts to the additional chainstay view in BikeCAD. It is ingenious how you can add the dropouts (I use paragon dropouts) in the normal view via static drawing. But since I need to know the exact location and angle for the slot of my struts, I would need the static drawing of the dropouts also in the additional strut view. Is this already possible, have I overlooked something? Or if not, would that be possible in the future?

Hi, I have a bit of a niche question:

For some context, I am working on an academic project in which I use machine learning to design bikes, and I am automatically generating CSV building spec files and would like to generate corresponding images without having to manually enter in hundreds of dimensions. I was wondering if there is a function to load a bike model based on a building spec export file. In case this isn't a feature, is there a good way to automatically edit/generate BikeCAD files to insert many dimensions? Thanks in advance for any insight!
