What does it mean when you put in the dimensions someone gave you and their calf diconnects from their body at the knee on the bottom of the pedal stroke?
Brent,
Is there any way to get the fit advisor to give a saddle hight based on a formula of the type 'Inseam * constant - crank length'?
This would vary the saddle to BB dimension as crank length changes.
All I can manage so far is 'Inseam * constant +- other body dimension'.
Thanks,
Chris
How do you enter in the info from a Serrotta size cycle?
I have seen it mentioned several places and on different videos I just can't find it in the actual program.

Hi,
I'm making a bicycle with your software, but I think that I have a problem. While I was making a new bicycle i've notice that the size of the frame seems too small respect measures of body inserted. I'll send you in attachment the size of the body and the size of the frame. Can you tell me if I did something wrong? Did I forgot to set some option? Or the result frame is correct?
Thanks
I am new to BikeCAD pro and had a question about how the default rider compartment. Where does the formula (0.562XB-0.562XC+0.562XE) come from? Comparing it to my road and mountain bikes, it seems to be a little cramped.
Also, is there a way to change the default sizes when the Fit Advisor is initally opened?
Hi Brent, I hope you're doing great. I just love using BikeCAD, it's a ton of fun.
So I was wondering lets say I have a road frame geometry and I switch from road drop bars to flat bars.
Assuming that the hand position on the drop bars is on the hoods, and the hand position on the flat bars is a given.
Shouldn't the TT length automatically increase to adjust for the shorter rider compartment?
If I design a road bike and then swap to flat bars, will it be too short?
I remember on the old BikeCAD when it started you had a choice of bike types and then when the riders anatomy was put it, the bike would be designed with the right geometry for him. What has happened to this function?
