BikeCAD Pro How To

If you've got a question about using BikeCAD Pro, the stand alone application for frame builders, bike shops and fit specialists, post it here.

For some reason, The fork design box won't appear. Only the header, with no color.

On my latest drawing I can't get the rear wheel to display correctly. It is only showing as a light lined outline.

Hi Guys,

Is there any way to lock the frame design and then alter the fork AC length to see what it does to the bb height and head/seat angle?

Thanks

Tally

Hi,

I'm having reall trouble trying to set the length of my head tube. The way it is represented visually doesn't seem to add up with the actual dimensions i print out. Also something is wrong with the way i've input my forks and headset. What am i doing wrong? I have a 130mm ht. I dont understand what the 110mm value in bikecadpro represnts.

Thanks for your help, i'm sure its something quite basic.

Phil

Hello,

I have great difficulty in spotting where is the "Fender" option button.

Can you point me to where is this option as I cannot remove it from the design.

I am currently on V13.0

Thank you in advance and keep up the great work!

Is there a way for me to remove or modify the value associated with a dimension?

For example, if I dimension the wheelbase, I'd like to keep the lines but replace the number with the word "wheelbase".  I assume I can make a note nearby, but cannot figure out how to remove the value without loosing the lines.

Curious if there is a template for a spin bike...  If not, how do I draw a front wheel drive...?

Hello

I'm still trying to get my head around BikeCAD Pro. Does anyone have a sample file they can share, that is based on a manufacturer's website?

Even if someone has five minutes to spare, I'd love the dimensions for:

https://www.giant-bicycles.com/au/cross-city-1-disc

entered into a sample file.

Any other advice would also be appreciated. Thanks Scott

Is it worth trying to fit a design for a foot-forward position step-through tandem (similar to Sun Brickell) in BikeCAD, or would I be better off using a general CAD program?

One big issue is that seat tubes connect directly to boom tube, and bottom brackets are placed independently along the boom tube (placing the seat tube behind the location of the BB and crank).

To make matters worse, I'll be adding couplers...

Thanks for any input,
