Randonneuring frame help

Here's my preliminary design. Rider is 18 y.o. male, 5'10" 220 lbs of muscle. All of his personal fit dimensions are plugged in already. I'm looking to make a Randonneur/All-Road bike. I've got qualitative questions, like:

Is there enough Fr-Ctr distance, is the wheelbase long enough, is there enough fork rake, what is my trail?

And quantitative questions:

Where do I find the above-mentioned stats? Once I settle on a geometry, how can I calculate tube lengths, tube angles, miters, etc.

From fit dimensions to bike dimensions

Hi !

I've done a bike fit and the bikefitter used your tool to model the recommended new bike.

I was trying to play around with the free version and wondered if there's a tool that enables calculation of custom dimensions.

Such as :

- Saddle to drops

- Saddle to hoods

- Handlebar drop

Reversedly, is it possible to take a bike frame (e.g. Fairlight secan 2.5 size 56t) and determine a few dimensions based on the custom dimensions.

For example : for a size 56t, what stem length would yield a saddle to hoods of 69.5?

Mechanical and Hydraulic Drop-bar Hood Length

Curious if anyone knows how to customize hood length for a drop-bar setup? The length of a hydraulic hood is (in most cases) longer than a mechanical hood and the options available seem be mechanical only design. the difference in torso, leg, hip, shoulder... will increase with a hydraulic hood due to the longer palm area. Any thoughts are appreciated, thank you

[request] can you help me visualize the rider on a bike?

Hi, I'm using a regular free BikeCAD and I cannot see how a person my size will fit onto a Soma Wolverine frame.

Since this is an overseas purchase I won't be able to re-fit or replace the frame any soon.

Would find the time to help me apply the rider on the bike? Only BikeCAD pro users can do that...

The bike in the size I'm considering can be found there: https://www.bikecad.ca/1487509282482

I can share my exact measurements as required by BikeCAD Pro.

Request: Design Review Help

Hi,

I need some "expert help" reviewing a bike design I'm creating in BikeCAD.

I think the design is okay, but this is the first bike I'm doing and need an "expert eye" to review it to help me 1) make sure I haven't missed any "fatal flaws" (e.g. insufficient clearances, etc.), and 2) offer advice on how to improve the design overall (e.g. tweaking angles, etc. to improve rideability etc.).

I am willing to pay for this advice.

First bike build - CX commuter advice

I'm a new BikeCAD user and very excited. I'm trying to build this new bike with belt drive and alfine di2 while still learning frame geometry.

The primary use of the bike will be commuting (20 miles each way) . I want to put fenders on so I don't have to take the bus if the roads are wet or snowing. If the bike turns good I will take it to a cyclocross race perhaps next year.

Hi,

I was hoping someone could help me determine whether this design: http://www.bikecad.ca/1369268848034 will experience any toe overlap. Unfortunately I don't have a copy of Pro. The shoe size is 45. Thanks, in anticipation.

70cm Tourer

I'm passing details for a custom frame for myself from a fitter to a frame builder.

The seat tube length for this frame is 70cm, with 200mm cranks.

While I'm expecting both the fitter and builder to check the design, are there any subtle issues I should be on the lookout for?
