If there's a feature you'd like to see added to BikeCAD, suggest it here.

Do you have plans to release a version of BikeCAD that's written for the Mac with the Apple silicon? I noticed some VERY slow behavior, like when scrolling and zooming, changes propogate very slowly and this seems to be a common issue with applications written in Java and unfortunately I'm not savvy enough to figure it out on my own.
Hi Brent,
First off, thank you soo much for creating such a valuble tool.
When I'm drafting my prospective frames some times I need to know dimensions or angles that are non standard in BikeCAD. For instance bb to handle bar end. It would be super cool if I was able to have these kind of dimensions "snap" to important/common locations such as the bb or front axle etc. If these dims are locked to those locations and they could change as my model changes that would be extremely useful.
Hi, can a miter template be added for breezer style dropouts considering they're round. can this be added in the next version?
Many thanks
Hello Brent,
It's a software feature. Could it be possible to allow BikeCAD to open a file given as argument ?
It will allow to open .bcad files directly in BikeCAD and simplify the workflow for some of us.
Thanks a lot,
Morgan.
My request would be the possibility to create a frame bag.
here I used the bucket feature - maybe an additional parameter for the Front would be enough.

Hello Brent,
this is a simple one: I use the freehand drawing tool frequently and I always get confused which line is what. It would be great to have the option of giving names/notes for individual lines in the freehand menu.
Thank you.
Arnold
Im sitting on BikeCAD right now having to turn off and turn on all sorts of different measurements to move from jig setup to miter setup. Its a pain and I forget what exactly I need to click as I dont do this everyday, so Im hunting around. I would love to just be able to hit something in a drop down that switches my view of measurements that I associate with that view and other visibiilty options, such as "fit", "layout", "front end," "miter angles," "jig setup" "client ready" etc.

There are many saddle tip to a point dimensions. If you could add Saddle tip to center of BB, that would be helpful as it's an easy reference point to measure a saddle setback from with a 4' level.
Thanks,
Ryan
Does anyone happen to have the old True Temper Velo Kit curved seattube drawing or specifications? Would love to include this if possible.
Thanks
