BikeCAD How To Forum

Brent, Thanks for all the support. My issue with my model size 17 has the top and down tube intersecting. To resolve, how do I shorten the down tube length and lengthen the head tube? I looked at the primary dimensions module and it seems I can only adjust top and down tube lengths.

Top tube and down tube intersection

Sometimes on small bikes, it is unavoidable that the top tube and down tube will intersect. One of the enhancements in version 9 is that BikeCAD Pro will now account for the possible intersection of the top tube and down tube when developing miter templates.

Having said that, it looks like you are just looking for more options for controlling the front end geometry of the bike. There are three different options to consider. They are described at: bikecad.ca/toptube_frontcenter.
