BikeCAD Feature Request

I'd like to be able to print out a list of the dimensions I've chosen to display and their values. Or...to open a separate window which would display this information dynamically.

BikeCAD Feature Request

I'd like to extend the top tube through the headtube (forward) and/or through the seat tube (aft) like the van moof ebike. Is that possible?

DT/ST miter offset compensation

Brent,

I deleted my post after I read yours, second guessed myself and then had a bit of a freak out as I was double checking my maths. I shouldn't have, because I think I'm correct.

My hope was to eliminate the necessity for scribe lines on this particular miter because in my case, it's too dark (I keep a light in my pocket for this task) and too difficult (I had a nasty crash last year that's left me with injuries) for me to crawl on top of my milling machine (in horizontal mode) to see if the cutter is hitting the line.

Water bottles on a tandem

BikeCAD Feature Request

Until recently I thought water bottles were not the most important feature of bike design.
But now I have to find a place for two batteries (electric tandem) within a tandem frame.
That takes a lot of fiddling around with batteries and water bottles.

Water bottles for a tandem are not features in BikeCad.
And I can only import one photo.
I use the photo for the battery.

Will it be possible to add a water bottle on the rear seat tube, diagonal tube, and rear the top tube of a tandem?

Thank you.

Seat tube length (BB to top of tube 1)

In the Dimensions Dialogue box, tab Frame, one can choose to show the Seat tube length (BB to top of tube 1)

But this features is not available in the tab Tandem/Frame

PS; I know it is possible to show Seat tube length (c-c) and Seat tube extension above top tube
But some people expect bike size to be expressed in Seat tube length (BB to top of tube 1)

Tabs for different sets of dimensions/features

Hi Brent,

one feature that I think would be very helpful is being able to add different pages or tabs, like in an excel file for instance. This would allow the user to save different sets of dimensions in one single design file, i.e. one page for the jig set up, another one for the bike dimensions and a third one for the tubes.

Chainstay bend specs as input

BikeCAD Feature Request

This might be a feature already... but most distributors give their dimensions for prebent chainstays in bend angle (8 degree, 8 degree for a 2 bend chainstay). Would it be possible for this to be an input into the chainstay tab (to see tire clearance in auxiliary view)

Cheers!

BikeCAD Feature Request

Hi Brent ,

Am I able to design a cargo bike with two headtubes and an expanded downtube with the free version or do I need the CAD Pro? How can I add two headtubes?

Thanks,

Florens

Entering primary dimensions

BikeCAD Feature Request

Seat tube length: I would like an option to choose a certain top tube slope instead of seat tube length. This would be useful for example if you want a horisontal top tube.

Front end height: I suggest adding other options than stack for controlling the height of the front end. I would sometimes like to enter the headtube length in mm instead of stack. This is useful when you already have a headtube cut to a certain length. Among the choices could also be handlebar drop in relation to the saddle and/or other dimensions locking the handlebar height.

Standover height at seat tube and head tube

The default standover height is calculated at the midpoint of the top tube. It would be handy to know what it is at either end of the top tube, especially the heat tube end. This can be done with a custom dimension, but it would be nice to have it as an option on the Dimensions Palette. (Yeah, I work with a lot of very small riders!)
