Hey Brent, how are you? Lucas and Matías here, Lucas writing. Hope you are doing well. First of all, thank you very much for such awesome software you created. It was the second tool we bought back in 2015, just after our little hobbyist mill and it is essential in our design process. We are writing this topic because we want to ask you about embedding BikeCad on our website. In October we are planning to lunch our first noncustom frameset.

Hey Brent,
First off, I'm loving V17. Thanks for your continued support/updates/etc.
Second, a few days ago I didn't have access to bikeCAD but I had a bit of an idea so I drew something up in Fusion360. When I went back to bikeCAD to figure the rest of stuff out, I noticed what I think is a descrepancy (or a gap in my knowledge).

Hi, Brent - I was just noticing that when I updated from v15 to v17.1 (thanks!) my custom configurations from v15 did not carry over, as they have during previous updates. Version 15 config folder is still intact, and I can run v15. I'm running OS X Big Sur. (I searched Forum to see if this Q had been previously addressed). Thanks as always, JF

I've started using the miter templates lately and have noticed that all of them don't actually wrap the tube fully. There is always a gap either on the underside or top of the tube. I have also noticed that some reference the Top and some reference the Bottom in the middle of the template cut out.
Is there a way to allow them to all be set to start at the top of the tube rather then the bottom?

I understand that the W3 measurement goes from the BB center to the large chainring; but why, when the CL value is actually derived from the center or middle of the two chainrings on the crank or from the single chainring when using 1x?
So as an example: I have a double crankset that has a CL of 45.5. There is 8mm spacing between the two chainrings. So then would I set W3 to 49.5?
What about with a 1x crankset that has the same CL of 45.5? Would W3 remain at 45.5?

I'm trying to see the effects on geometry of different positions of the sliding dropouts.
I'm using the Paragon DS0001 dropouts
I lock the frame, and adjust the slider from 0 to say 20mm and back to 0, but when shifting back the frame has changed. bb drop, hta, sta, reach, stack all change.
I've checked out the video and am following the right procedure afaik.
Can anyone confirm they are seeing this issue also?
Thanks

Heya,
I'm running into a strange behavior. Not a big deal but I can't seem to get rid of it by changing any of the obvious inputs. Unsure if this is a bug or if I'm just doing it wrong.
Basically, when I try to attach the seat stays to the top tube I get an illustration that looks similar to what happens when you try to an "impossible" curve in a tube. See photos attached.
The Z axis changes by 1mm in the photos. I dont really mind visual noise. I'm just unsure how to interpret what I'm seeing and am unsure if I'm just messing something up.
