Please I need some help.
I'm trying to fix the chainline offset as I'm designing a frame using Shimano Alfine 11 DI2 (SG-S705) and the Gates Carbon Drive.
I'm having a 12mm issue on the chain line.
So far I've got able to draw a assymetric chainstay to go around the belt avoiding a chainstay coupler and enabling larger tire clearance.

Is there anyway to change the configuration file location so I can have it stored online, so my laptop can see the latest parts I have created, without the need to copy them over all the time?

What is the best way to simulate the Columbus Aero Megatube.
It has a 51x32 cross section.
I know under tubing tab there is an "Aero" selection under the downtube, and I assume "chord length" is the depth of the tube, but what is "leading edge offset"?

I have just gone to install the recent upgrade to 12.5 on my recently upgraded to Win 10 machine.
It comes up and shows the install screen, and Part 1 of 4, but doesn't progress past that. On Windows 7 you could right click and 'Run as Admin' when it got stuck here, but no option exits on Win 10, that I have yet found.
Do you have any ideas?
Thanks,
Chris

Hi all,
I would like the chainstays to be as low as possible on my frames meaning that I want the lower part of the chainstay to come out flush with the bottom of my bb. I had a look in the chain stay section but I'm not quite sure how to work it out, i realise i can fill in a negative value for E and this will lower it, but I am not sure what E stands for. mm under or above center bb?
thanks, mick

Hey Brent,
Is there a way to show seatstay length in standard view (not auxilary). I can do it manually of course but would really like it to be a driven dimension for my dimension templates.
Thanks!
Sam

Hi Brent,
I like Bikecad but I could imagine some additional functions.
Is it possible to expand the box with any round corners?
I draw with the box mounting parts like Suspension Seatpost or Speedlifter.
Some modern Rear Carriers and Lowriders would be nice, too.

Two things I'm having trouble modelling perfectly:
- Is there a way to model eccentric BBs? I can get the shell diameter correct, but can't work out how to get the BB axle ofset from the centre of the shell.
- I'm designing a frame where the seatstays and top tube will be in line, and want the seatstays to terminate on the side of the top tube, but the design goes wonky as the angle between seatstay and top tube approaches zero - I guess because it's still trying to terminate the tubes under the TT.
